Lee County, FL — Two people have been injured, one critically, after a two vehicle head-on crash on Burnt Store Road just south of Vincent Avenue at the Lee-Charlotte county line in Punta Gorda.
Cape Coral Fire, Lee County EMS and Charlotte County Fire & EMS crews responded to the incident at 9:50 PM Thursday night.
Fire & EMS radio communications indicate an approximately 35-year-old female was declared a “Trauma Alert” and transported by EMS to Cape Coral Hospital.
An additional occupant sustained minor injuries.
Burnt Store Road is completely shutdown at this time.
The Florida Highway Patrol has been requested to investigate.
