1:10 AM — The Florida Highway Patrol has confirmed that four people are dead and several others have been seriously injured, some critically, after a crash on Lee Blvd in Lehigh Acres.
FHP says the initial collision happened at 11:41 AM and involved three vehicles.
A sedan with five passengers was traveling westbound in the inside lane of Lee Blvd, east of Lee St, when it failed to negotiate a curve and entered the eastbound lanes after traveling over a median.
The sedan then crashed head-on with a second sedan, which was traveling eastbound in the center lane of Lee Blvd, east of Lee St.
Following the initial collision, the second sedan crashed into the front-left side of a third sedan, which was traveling eastbound in the outside lane of Lee Blvd, east of Lee St.

Sedan 1:
- Male, 23, of Cape Coral, FL — Deceased (Driver)
- Female, 22, of Cape Coral, FL — Deceased
- Male, 25, of Palm Springs, FL — Deceased (No seatbelt)
- Male, 24, of Cape Coral — Deceased (No seatbelt)
- Female, 20, of Cape Coral — Critical Injuries (No seatbelt)
Sedan 2:
- Male, 53, of Lehigh Acres, FL — Serious Injuries (Driver)
- Male, 36, of Lehigh Acres, FL — Serious Injuries
Sedan 3:
- Male, 23, of Cape Coral, FL — Minor Injuries (Driver)

The fifth passenger of the first sedan and both passengers of the second sedan were transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center.
The driver of the third sedan was transported to Lehigh Regional Medical Center.
FHP continues to investigate this crash.

Lee County, FL — Two people have died and three more have been injured, two seriously after a three vehicle crash at Lee Boulevard and Lee Street in Lehigh Acres.
Lehigh Acres Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to the incident at 11:43 AM Sunday morning.
FHP confirms that this is a fatal crash.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash, one of which ended up in a ditch.

The following information has been sourced from Fire & EMS radio communications. These details have not been independently confirmed by FHP:
Initial reports indicate two people were pronounced dead at the scene, one of which was ejected.
Two additional people sustained serious injuries meeting "Trauma Alert" criteria and were transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center.
A fifth person sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
The crash was declared a "Level 1 Mass Casualty Incident" by scene commanders due to the number of patients involved.
