Lee County, FL — Two people have been injured, one seriously, after a rollover crash on S Tamiami Trail just south of Trifecta Lane in Fort Myers.
San Carlos Park Fire, Estero Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to the incident at 5:45 PM Friday afternoon.
Fire & EMS radio communications indicate that an approximately 31-year-old male was pinned underneath the roof of the rolled-over vehicle at the scene.
He sustained serious injuries meeting "Trauma Alert" criteria and was transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center.
An additional person sustained minor injuries and was also transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center.
All northbound lanes of US-41 are blocked at Sanibel Blvd.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
