Lee County, FL — No injuries have been reported after a four-vehicle crash caused a pickup truck to catch fire in the westbound lanes of Colonial Boulevard just east of Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard in Fort Myers.
Fort Myers Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to the incident at 7:15 PM Friday evening.
The engine compartment was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived and was extinguished within a few minutes.
No injuries were reported.
All westbound lanes of Colonial Blvd are blocked at Challenger Blvd.
The Fort Myers Police Department is investigating.
