Lee County, FL — At least one person was detained after tactical teams swarmed a home at 3731 Pelican Boulevard in Cape Coral.
Cape Coral Fire and Lee County EMS crews were requested to standby in the area of the incident at around 1:30 PM Thursday afternoon.
Multiple officers could be seen entering and leaving the home in tactical gear and masks.
Multiple witnesses say police were giving verbal commands for an occupant of the house to exit. One neighbor provided video showing one person being detained by police.
The CCPD's drone unit was also deployed and could be seen scanning the nearby vicinity in a grid pattern.
No further information has been made available.
The police presence has since dissipated.
