Collier County, FL — One person has died and at least two more have been seriously injured after a three vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of I-75 at the 86 mile marker in Collier County.
Greater Naples Fire and Collier County EMS crews responded to the incident at 9:39 PM Monday night.
One person has been transported as a “Trauma Alert” by MedFlight to Lee Memorial.
Broward Air Rescue is enroute to the scene to transport an additional “Trauma Alert” criteria patient.
All southbound lanes of I-75 (Alligator Alley) are shutdown at the 101 mile marker at this time.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
