Lee County, FL — A man has been seriously injured after a rollover crash at Winkler Avenue and Schoolhouse Road E in Fort Myers.
Fort Myers Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to the incident at 5:13 PM Tuesday afternoon.
Fire & EMS radio communications indicate that the male occupant of the rollover vehicle was trapped inside and had to be extricated by firefighters.
He sustained a partial amputation to the left arm and was transported as a "Trauma Alert" to Gulf Coast Medical Center.
An additional person sustained minor injuries but refused medical care.
All westbound lanes of Winkler Ave were previously shut down at Veronica Shoemaker Blvd but have since reopened.
The Fort Myers Police Department is investigating.
