Lee County, FL — One person has been critically injured after a two vehicle accident at Summerlin Road and Lakewood Boulevard in Fort Myers.
Iona McGregor Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to the incident at 5:10 PM Tuesday afternoon.
Initial reports indicate that the passenger of the white sedan was ejected from the car and sustained critical injuries.
The passenger was reportedly in cardiac arrest and transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center, where their current condition is unknown.
All southbound lanes of Summerlin Rd are blocked.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
