One dead after rollover crash on SR-80 in Port Labelle

UPDATE | 03.11.25

6:25 AM — The Florida Highway Patrol confirms a Labelle man has died after a single-vehicle rollover crash Monday night on SR-80 just west of Cedarwood Parkway in Port Labelle.

Troopers say at approximately 8:34 PM, an SUV was traveling eastbound on SR-80 at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle failed to negotiate a right curve in the road, entered the median and overturned.

The driver, a 51-year-old male from Labelle was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.

Hendry County, FL — One person has died after a rollover crash on SR-80 just west of Cedarwood Parkway in Port Labelle.

All eastbound lanes of SR-80 are blocked at Birchwood Parkway.

The Florida Highway Patrol arrived at the scene at 8:59 PM this evening and they are actively investigating.
