Lee County, FL — One person is dead after a shooting near Three Oaks Park at 18251 Three Oaks Parkway in Fort Myers.
San Carlos Park Fire and Lee County EMS crews responded to the incident at 8:13 AM Thursday morning.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:48 AM.
A vehicle and a body laying beside it could be seen in the median on Three Oaks Parkway.
Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies have swarmed Three Oaks Parkway and I-75 in the area of this incident.
The LCSO Aviation Unit is also circling overhead as deputies actively search for a suspect.
Three Oaks Parkway is completely blocked in both directions between Winged Foot Drive and San Carlos Boulevard.
